Disease BASIC EXAMINATION (ADULT)
   
Treatment Observere the gait and the fafcial expression (esp. anxiety), as the patiet walks in and sits on the examination table.  “Show the tongue.” Look for pallor. Look for caynosis, and apthous ulcers. “Say ‘Ah’, “ inspect the throat.  “Look down.” Pull up the upper eyelid and look at the sclera for icterus, Bilot’s spots. Pull down the lowere eyelid and look for pallor.  Inspect the neck region, while the patient is still sitting, and palpate for lymph nodes with both hands.  Inspet the hands, palms and nails (A glimpse; Details if anything abnormal.) As the patient is lying down from the sitting position, inspect the toes, feet and legs. Look for edema Now semiflex the legs, relaxing the abdomen. palpate for Liver and spleen. Auscultate the heart. At least the apex, parasterna region and the pulmonary area.“Take deep breaths” auscultate the lungs at both infraclavicular regions, axillae and the basal regions on  both sides.  Check the blood pressure. In evey patient above 40 years, all diabetics, hypertensives, obese patients, Patients of headache, giddiness & chest pain.
